Building your South Coast home from Canberra
Batemans Bay is Canberra's closest coast. Here is how to plan, design and build a South Coast home when you live three hours away, without it becoming a second job.
The South Coast is Canberra's beach. For a lot of our clients, the dream is a home down the coast while life and work stay in the capital. The catch is the distance: how do you build a quality home three hours away without living in the car? Here is how it actually works.
You do not need to be on site
Because we design and build in-house, you have one team and one point of contact, not a designer in one place and a builder in another. We run the whole project, from concept and approvals through to construction, and keep you informed against a clear program. You make the decisions; we manage the build.
Clear updates, not guesswork
Distance only works with communication. You get regular updates and a clear picture of progress, costs and what is coming next, so a three-hour drive is a choice, not a requirement. When you do come down, the visit is about enjoying the project, not chasing it.
Designed for how you will really use it
Whether it is a permanent sea change or a holiday home you will rent between visits, we design for the reality: low-maintenance coastal detailing, lock-up-and-leave, and spaces that work for a quiet weekend or a full house over summer.
Start with a conversation
The first step is a chat about your block and your brief. No sales pressure, just a clear sense of what is possible on the coast and what it is likely to cost, before you commit to anything.
