Maloneys Beach sits on the northern shore of Batemans Bay, on the north side of the Clyde estuary, at the southern end of Murramarang National Park. It is a small residential suburb set around a calm, well-protected beach. It is a place people choose for a permanent home or a holiday house close to the water and the bush.

With national park on the doorstep, the bush is part of almost every block here, and that shapes the design from day one. Many sites carry a bushfire (BAL) rating that affects cladding, glazing, decks, gutters and the separation between the house and the trees. We prepare a preliminary BAL assessment in-house during design, and bring in an accredited BPAD consultant where the site needs one.
